NexTrex Recycling Challenge

Update 07/01/2025
WE DID IT!! In less than 5 months we recycled (with the help of our community) 1,000 lbs of plastic!
We already had our new bench shipped to us and it is currently in the process of being assembled so that we can present it to the Village Board soon. So what's next? Well since we are three communities with one mission, we're doing it all over again. So we've officially hit the "reset" button. Montfort this is your time to shine! Can we do 1,000 lbs in 4 months? Stay tuned to find out!

Update 06/01/2025
We're at 690 lbs of plastic recycled so far for our challenge! It's been only 120 days since we started. That's just under 6 lbs of plastic recycled per day. At this rate we should hit our goal soon and be moving on to doing it again for another community. Keep bringing in that plastic!
Update 05/05/2025 Wow! I just submitted a plastic drop-off of 160lbs. We are well on our way with this recycling challenge. We're only 3 months in and have almost hit half of the required 1000lbs. Our total now sits at 450lbs of recycled plastic!
Update 03/06/2025 We're a little over a month into our recycling challenge! Last month we collected 40lbs of plastic out of the 1,000lbs we need. That being said, keep bringing in your plastic! We only have 960lbs left to go. Drop your plastic off at: Worship on Sunday mornings, My Turn North in Livingston, or the Livingston United Methodist Church on Thursday afternoons.
